STARWEST ADVENTURES offers Guided Float trips,
from Mid-May until October 1st.
We offer guided tours to both small and
large groups on the Wild & Scenic Upper Missouri River. We furnish
tents, camping equipment, all river meals, canoes, paddles, vests, roundtrip river shuttle services,
and of course experienced river guides. |

We offer two separate 3-day/2-night tours or one 7-day/6-night tour.
The 3-day/2-night tours travel through the WHITE CLIFFS
Section of the Upper Missouri River or will expose you to the
BADLANDS section of the river. Our 7-day/6-night tour includes the ENTIRE 149 mile
corridor of the Wild & Scenic River. The longer tour is offered to groups
of 8 or more people. On our Guided Float Trips, you'll not only spend time on the
water, but takes side tours off the river on the many hiking trails
that are offered. Your river guides will take care of the
necessities, including camp set up, cooking, cleaning, and pointing
out the many things to see. You will be provided a roomy tent
(2 people per tent) for your home while on the river. We utilize the
river for daily bathing. Stories, readings, and possibly a few games
will entertain you around the campfire.
STARWEST ADVENTURES can handle groups up to 25
people. Group rates are offered when 8 or more sign up at the same
time, from the same group. Our unique Canoe Catamaran set-up is
offered to 6 or less people, but we can utilize additional canoes to
accommodate any size group, up to 25 in number.
We DO NOT include Pre/Post Tour Motel Rooms in
our Guided Tour Packages, but we will assist you in obtaining Lodging
before and after your tour. We work with several Fort Benton and Great Falls Montana motels.

White Cliffs Tour - Coal Banks to Judith Landing (47 miles) (3-days/2-nights)
- Tour includes the beautiful White Cliffs Section, Eagle Creek, Hole-in-the-Wall, Slaughter River, Judith River and lots of hiking trails. A Horseback Riding Option is also offered with this tour. See Horseback Riding Option for details.

Badlands Section Tour - Judith Landing to James Kipp Park (61 miles) (3-days/2-nights)
- This tour covers 61 miles through the Missouri Breaks area of the Wild & Scenic Upper Missouri River.
You will see more wildlife on this tour including Mountain Sheep and sometimes Elk.
Tour includes several Lewis & Clark campsites, Dauphin Rapids, Cow Island, Woodhawk Landing and many old river homesteads.
Less hiking is done on this tour than the White Cliffs Tour. |

Tour includes historic Fort Benton, Marias River and Decision Point, White Cliffs area, Eagle Creek, Hole-in-the-Wall, Dauphine Rapids, Judith Landing, Cow Island, Woodhawk Landing, Charlie Russell Game Refuge, and other sites.

This tour is done on a custom basis to fit your groups schedule, as well as ours.

Horseback Riding Option - This is an
add on option, offered on the White Cliffs Tour ONLY!. In addition to
the many things we offer and do, on the White Cliffs Tour, we can also
provide a 4 hour horseback ride into the White Cliffs area. You will
float the river in canoes for 10 miles, until we get to Pilot Rock. We
off load you a Pilot Rock Stables, where you will be provided horses
and an experienced Trail Boss. You will ride for 4 hours, by
horseback, into the White Cliffs section, where you will rejoin the
river crew at Eagle Creek Campground. You will continue the rest of
the tour by canoe. This is offered as an additional option for $130
per person, above the regular tour fee.
